LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – August 21, 2012 – ARC Entertainment announces that FOR GREATER GLORY debuts on Video-on Demand (VOD), DVD and Blu-ray on Sept. 11. Released in theaters on June 1, the epic action film earned more than $5.6 million at the domestic box office.

The film follows the true story of the 1920s Cristero War – the daring people’s revolt that rocked 20th Century North America. SANTA MONICA, CALIF. – June 8, 2012 – Thanks to tremendous support from Catholics across the country, FOR GREATER GLORY earned more than $1.8 million on only 757 screens over its opening weekend – good enough for the No. 10 spot in overall box office for all films in release. The film from Dos Corazones Productions, distributed by ARC Entertainment, finished at No. 5 in per-screen average among the top 10 at $2,378 per screen.

Archbishop Gomez hosts ‘Who’s Who’ at prestigious red-carpet event
SANTA MONICA, CALIF. – June 1, 2012 – On the eve of its theatrical release across America, Most. Rev. José H. Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles, hosted the May 31 red-carpet premiere of the action epic FOR GREATER GLORY, a Dos Corazones Studios production being distributed by ARC Entertainment.
Archbishop Gomez welcomed a ‘Who’s Who’ of entertainment and Catholic leaders, clergy and religious to the red-carpet reception in the Grand Lobby of Los Angeles’ Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. The screening followed in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater – which erupted with a spontaneous chant of “Viva Cristo Rey!” at the end of the film!

SANTA MONICA, CALIF. – May 2, 2012 – The epic movie FOR GREATER GLORY opened in Mexico April 20 with the title of CRISTIADA and raced to the No. 1 spot in gross for all admissions at the box office – and No. 2 overall behind only the 3D release of another epic film, Titanic. CRISTIADA took in $1.06 million over opening.
The film held on to the No. 2 spot April 27-29, bested only by the blockbuster superhero film The Avengers, and has taken in more than $2.2 million at the box office. FOR GREATER GLORY opens June 1 in the U.S.
